Safe mode didn't even work on my original hard drive, so it may be the Sata controller on the DFI.Įdit: Very wide range of errors. I'm trying to test the HDD, but I'm having a hard time. It could actually be the motherboard, but I hope it isn't. Removing the suspected "problem drive" and booting off my other drive (configured for the M2N32-SLI) I received error messages 0xC2 and 0x7E. Thanks for the Seagate tool, I should have thought of that before, but I never suspected the HDD.Įdit: I just realized I can run the Seagate test without an OS, so I'll get right on that, if this install fails. I have another hard drive, but it already has an OS on it from my old computer, and I don't want to corrupt it by uninstalling\Įinstalling chipset drivers. I do not have any other computers that have Sata ports, but I may be able to go to my friends house and test it real quick.
